01The context

Instituto Mandaver delivered real impact, grassroots sports, professional training, inclusion, but relied almost entirely on public and private grants. It's a fragile model: when a grant doesn't come through, the project stops. What was missing is what every sustainable organization needs: direct, recurring relationships with brands that believe in the cause.

02The challenge

The institute relied almost entirely on public and private grants. Outside that flow, there was little diversification and no structured pipeline of long-term brand partnerships.

03What was at stake

Reduce reliance on grants by diversifying funding sources.

Convert one-off donations into recurring brand partnerships.

Translate social impact into concrete benefit for the sponsor.

Fund projects from grassroots sports to professional training.

04The approach

I built a sponsor pipeline based on value: for each brand, a tailored offer that turned one-off donations into ongoing partnerships, from grassroots sports to professional training.

05How it was done

  1. 01

    Portfolio diagnosis

Analyzed existing partners and the potential of each relationship to design a fundraising pipeline beyond grants.

    • Análise de carteira
    • Régua de captação
  2. 02

    Tailored proposals

Created tailored sponsorship proposals for each brand, translating social impact into concrete sponsor benefit.

    • Propostas por marca
    • Proposta de valor
  3. 03

    Long-term conversion

    R$ 15 mil/mês Workshop cost covered by a sponsor

Converted one-off donations into recurring partnerships, like Bauduco, which became the official sponsor of the sports workshops.

    • Negociação
    • Contratos de longo prazo
  4. 04

    Impact & scale

    500+ Women trained

Unlocked resources for CRB's grassroots projects and a training center that qualified 500+ women.

    • Esporte de base
    • Centro de qualificação
The turning point wasn't asking for more donations: it was turning each brand into a partner in the cause, with an offer where sponsoring was worth it.

06The impact

R$ 12M+

Raised through public and private partnerships

R$ 2,5M

Raised for a daycare and professional training center

500+

Women trained at the professional center

Fundraising stopped depending solely on grants and started standing on its own. Brands became recurring sponsors, and the resources unlocked sustained everything from CRB's grassroots sports to a center that trained 500+ women.

07The takeaway

Financial sustainability in the third sector doesn't come from asking for more: it comes from offering better. A clear value proposition turns an occasional donor into a long-term partner.
